I am Julie, and after working 20+ years, I have become many things

Innovation Facilitator. I guide teams through the innovation process, through training and application, focusing not just on the steps, but on cultivating the mindset necessary for creativity. My goal is to help teams develop and implement unique, purposeful solutions.

Team Engagement Specialist. I diagnose team dynamics and engagement levels, using the Energy Leadership Index (ELI), then coach and guide them towards more effective and enjoyable collaboration, enhancing their overall effectiveness.

Energy Coach. I assess leaders and individuals on their motivation, drive, and energy levels, both on an average daily basis, as well as specifically under stress. I then coach them to overcome barriers that hinder high engagement and creativity.

Learning Designer. I craft interactive learning journeys that empower organizations, leaders, and teams to achieve their desired outcomes in soft skills, ensuring meaningful growth and development.

Strategic Design Lead. I oversee and facilitate design processes to achieve a vision aligned with business goals. I ensure cross-team collaboration and facilitate innovative, user-centered solutions in an agile manner.

Xs Organizer. I love helping people create unforgettable experiences (Xs) for their friends, family or co-workers. Whether it's a special celebration or an intimate gathering, I bring my passion for designing meaningful events that bring people together in unique and joyful ways.

My work with individuals and organisations is deeply personal and deeply systemic at the same time. My job as Innovation Facilitator and Coach is to confront limiting patterns and bring out creativity, courage and resilience in people. Each individual, each team, each organisation has its own typical way of working. As a facilitator I enter their habits temporarily and use all my experience and magic to help unblock, transform and empower.

During the first decade of my career...

I honed my skills in Innovation, Marketing, and Leadership roles within esteemed corporate entities such as KPN and Philips. Recognizing the power of my passion, I transitioned into Learning Design and Coaching, co-managing my own Training Company and later serving as the Learning Design Director at Hyper Island. Together with my team, I meticulously crafted and implemented over 150 Learning Strategies, Pathways, and Programs. These initiatives catered to diverse audiences, including Corporate Organizations’ L&D teams, leaders and teams, Digital Management Master Degree Students, and individual learners in Open Courses.

Partnerships globally

Julie's collaborative spirit is evident in her partnerships with over 35 Corporate Companies, including Axiata, Singtel, Singapore Airlines, BNP Paribas, AXA, AIA, Metlife, KPMG, Visa, DBS, OCBC, UOB, Citi, Moet Hennesey, Richemont, Jardines, and many others. Her contributions have consistently supported and led these organizations towards optimizing their innovation culture and behavior through the implementation of proven methods and tools.

Julie began her career in the Netherlands before moving to Singapore in 2007. In 2022, she relocated to Switzerland. Throughout her journey, she has worked closely with leaders, teams and individuals in diverse cultures, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, France, The Netherlands, the US, Switzerland, and Iceland.

Coaching & Facilitation

Following her relocation to Switzerland, Julie established her own company, Energy for Growth, in order to fully immerse herself in her role as a Facilitator and Coach. She developed the Energy for Growth Process, a comprehensive program combining Coaching and Training for leaders, teams and individuals from various backgrounds, facing transitions in their life.

Julie's passion for continuous learning is evident in her commitment to personal development. Her coaching style is intricately woven with techniques and skills drawn from the rich methodologies of Energy Leadership Coaching, Positive Psychology, Corporate-Based Mindfulness, Resilience Training, and NeuroLinguistic Programming.

Earners of the COR.E Leadership Dynamics™ Specialist (CLDS) certification have completed the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) COR.E Dynamics™ training program, including all training requirements and consisting of 40 hours of instruction and practice. This includes training necessary to coach with a specialized focus applying the principles of Energy Leadership™ to coach for performance.
